One-Day-Mommy

I'm not a Mom yet. We're not even trying...but I'm planning!

We're Finally Expecting (02/09/2012)

My thoughts toward the babies room have changed.  Here's the schemes for KellyBaby's Room:

The walls in our house are taupe with white crown molding.  So I wanted to come up with a scheme that would go with both.  Plus, if I make my base colors: white, taupe and gold, I can re-use it all again for KellyBaby #2. =-)  According to all the books I've been reading, the hormones could cause all of this to change tomorrow...but I doubt it.  I'm pretty much sold!

Baby Planning 101

Obviously, I'm the *over planner.  I'm on day two of my prenatals (no, I'm not preggers), but it's never to early to start decorating BabyKelly's first home(the womb).  DadKelly actually bought the very first bag of pampers last weekend.  He bought it as a joke, but I think it's awesome!!
In the spirit of early planning,  I've got ideas for the babie's room.

KellyBoy:  Grey/yellow with light green accents
KellyGirl:  Grey/pink with yellow accents or like THIS

We're also planning to have a "Gender Party".  Yes, I've started planning that as well! =-) LOL. It was actually my Dad's idea which makes it all the more special.  More to come.

What I Look Forward to the Most....

I love my husband dearly.  As cheesy as it sounds, I look forward to having a piece of that love crawling around, crying too much and laying on my chest falling asleep.  I look forward to the 9-months of Mommy-Baby companionship.  Yes, I will be that Momma-2-Be that talks to the baby from the moment the pink + sign pops up on the stick.  =-)
I would love to have a baby girl first.  Yet, if it is a boy,  I will fall in love with my baby prince all the same.  I can't wait to bring a new addition to this beautiful family of mine.  I can't wait to make my parents grandparents and my Grandmother a great-grandmother.  I can't wait to watch the overwhelming abundance of love from both grandmothers(our Moms).  We're so blessed with great in-laws(on both sides).  I can't wait for our sweet bundle of joy to be ever so confused with about 20-30 aunts and uncles at church! LOL.
Most of all, I can't wait to make my husband a Daddy.  I know he'll be somewhere near as great as my Dad - and that says a LOT!  I can't wait to wake up everyday to my sweet KellyBaby.  I look forward to getting dressed up and anxiously awaiting when Dad comes home from work.
I am so thankful for the life I have.  I simply can't wait for the greatest blessing I will ever be given - the blessing of Motherhood.
